About Me
Photography started as a love letter to my family and grew from there.
When my children were born, I picked up a camera because I never wanted to forget a single moment. Not just the big milestones, but the small, fleeting ones that slip away if you're not paying attention: toothless grins, the wide-eyed wonder of a first visit with Santa, the pure joy of tearing into a fresh pack of Pokémon cards, and the kind of silly, unscripted fun that only happens when kids are just being kids.
As they grew, so did my lens. Baseball seasons brought action shots from the sidelines, and before long I was capturing seniors for end-of-season gifts, banners for senior night, and photographing the very players I'd once watched round the bases as little ones. From there it grew naturally: senior portraits, proms, family photos… all because I showed up to a game with a camera and a whole lot of love for sharing what I saw.
When my kids graduated and moved onto their next chapters, I found myself asking what mine would look like. The answer kept finding me every time I picked up my camera. I was still at the games, still at the proms, still showing up for friends' kids the same way I'd shown up for my own. And somewhere in the middle of all that, it became clear. This is what I love to do!
Over the years I've had the pleasure of spending time with some pretty wonderful people. I’ve loved every minute of every session and look forward to continuing to capture the moments that matter.
Frequently Asked Questions

I specialize in a blend of portrait and lifestyle photography: polished enough for the wall, real enough to feel like you.
Over the years I've worked with high school and college seniors, families, and athletes. Whatever the age or occasion, my approach is the same: I find the best light and most flattering angles first, then use prompts along with poses to let genuine moments happen naturally. The result is always a mix of the portrait grandma will frame and the candid shot that makes you laugh every time you see it.

Sessions are held locally in Kennett Square and the surrounding area (typically within a 30 minute drive). Outdoor locations can be anywhere that means something to you such as parks, fields, one of the many botanical gardens in the area, or in town. Not sure? We can chat about what vibe you’re going for and pick a location together!
Please note: locations more than a 30 minute drive may require an additional travel fee.

Wear something that makes you feel like you! I generally suggest avoiding busy patterns or large logos, and choosing colors that complement each other if you're coming as a group or couple. Not sure what to pick? Just reach out! I'm happy to weigh in!

Most sessions are one hour, which gives us plenty of time to relax, have fun, and capture a variety of great shots.

I want to make sure your memories are yours to keep, which is why every session includes all of your high resolution digital files delivered via direct download, along with a print release. You'll receive a minimum of 40 images. But honestly, it’s usually more!
I also encourage you to print your favorites! There's something special about seeing your photos displayed in your home as a daily reminder of the people and moments you love. If they live only in the cloud, they can too easily be forgotten and these memories deserve to be showcased! A print release is included so you're free to print on your own whenever and wherever you'd like. If you'd prefer, I'm also happy to help with prints, albums, or other products!
